What is the GRO8 Startup Tech Accelerator?
The GRO8 Startup Tech Accelerator is an equity investment programme for early-stage DeepTech startups. GRO8 looks for founders building technology that is genuinely hard to copy — in areas like AI, biotech, clean energy, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
Selected startups receive an equity investment of up to $500,000 (~₹5 Crores), access to 30+ domain experts, go-to-market workshops, and a pitch slot at a Demo Day in front of investors. Strong performers can access follow-on funding after completing the programme.
- Pre-seed or seed stage DeepTech startup with working prototype or MVP
- Technology that is genuinely hard to copy — in AI, biotech, clean energy, robotics, or advanced manufacturing
- Registered Pvt Ltd or LLP with DPIIT/Startup India recognition
- At least one full-time founder actively engaged

GRO8 invests in DeepTech startups with proven technical defensibility and clear commercial potential.
Stage
Pre-seed and seed-stage startups. Growth-stage companies with significant DeepTech components may also qualify.
Technology
Disruptive DeepTech solution with a defensible technical moat — difficult-to-replicate innovation in AI, biotech, clean energy, robotics, or advanced manufacturing.
Prototype / MVP
Working prototype or MVP required. Functional demo or pilot deployment evidence must be available.
Legal Entity
Registered as Private Limited Company or LLP. DPIIT / Startup India recognition certificate required.
Founder Commitment
At least one full-time founder must be actively involved throughout the accelerator programme.
Funding History
No specific cap on prior funding; however, pre-seed and seed stage startups with limited prior institutional capital are preferred.
